About Us

I am Chelsea Keen and I started sewing bikini's when I was 8 years old.  My parents wouldn't let me have bikinis, so I made them myself! Eventually my mom tought me how to sew on the sewing machine and I took a Clothing class in High School. In 2002 I competed in my first NPC Fitness Competition. I made my own posing suits and routine costume. Throughout college I freelanced a few designs for some local competitors. I graduated in 2005 with a Bachelor of Science from the University of Delaware, where I majored in Apparel Design. 

I worked for 5 years for an industry leader and then decided it was time to go out on my own.  In 2011 Buff Bikinis was officially launched.  Since then we have had countless champions who wear our suits.

All of our suits are hand-made by me. I pattern, cut, sew and put on the crystals myself.  No imported factory made stuff here!
